The man from Brazil....I met up with Fabio last year right before BF2 and after getting to know him for a few days I realized he has the same passion for motorcycles as we do...so just because you come from a different country, you are a rock star,your girlfriend is a supermodel and you look like one too....people are the same...well.. inside anyway.Fabio is opening a incredible shop in Sao Paulo Brazil and has been collecting the right bikes,parts and apparel to make it a very special place. BF3 Camping Update

Hey potential Born-Free 3 campers!
In our original post about camping during Born-Free 3 we had a misunderstanding about the site within the campground by Cooks corner. We said originally it was the Hickey Creek Area, but it will actually be the Arroyo Campground. It sounds like they got it figured out for those that called to make reservations, but for those wanting to camp DON'T WAIT TO MAKE RESERVATIONS! By the time BF3 comes around the grounds will be full with or without Born-Free, so call now to make reservations and mostly be by other BF3 campers, CLICK HERE FOR CAMPING INFO
Also, the campgrounds folks said they had a lot of people asking about alcohol, be discreet about it if you are bringing it! The site doesn't allow it so be cool...dig?

Vendor and Sponsor Update :: Please Read

We still have a lot of questions coming in about becoming a vendor or sponsor and the deadlines. The only deadline that has passed is for our Top Level Sponsorship...those were higher levels to be on the post card flyer & the magazine ad's....We still have plenty of time for you to become a logo sponsor or vendor at the show....So don't worry !!! We will need to wrap that up in spring.The logo and vendor sponsors will be on the final fyler and Born Free show Tshirts and we want to have that ready around April. ...so again you still have time to do either one just be ready by spring.If you have any questions or concerns please contact us .

We went to sale yesterday a the Dave Mann show and it was a great day.The posters look amazing as do the tickets.These posters were screen printed..they are 12 x 18 and are only available through this promotion.The high quality of the posters & tickets ( from the art (( Thanks Adam )) & the printing (( Thanks Brian)) make them keepsake's for you to look back on 20 years from now & say you were there and a part of the show....100 % of proceeds go right into the bike build and keeping this show free for all those who attend..They should be availiable to purchase online inthe next day to so.

First Ride of 2011

Utility Boardshop has put together a first ride/get together of the new year in old town Upland on Sunday Jan. 2nd from 10am. to 4 pm. at their shop.They will be selling the Born Free 3 knucklehead posters/w free chance ticket in the store and for those who buy one will get a free Born Free/Utility/Vans limited run T Shirt.These shirts are only available the day of the event.Cory Miller( famous tattoo artist) has graciously offered to open up his killer art studio and serve free refreshments to all attendees.There also will be live music( Cory's band) food,free drinks and old bikes.Kick off the new year right..get on your bike and come on out.

Dice Party @ Cook's Corner June 25th 2011

Matt & Dean from Dice Magazine have offered to host a Born Free 3 afterparty @ Cook's Corner Bar.The bar is right between the show and the campgrounds and is perfect.If you have never been to Cook's it's on a majestic canyon road with rich biker history and can accommodate a lot of bikes.This spot has a huge outdoor party area so we will have plenty of room to wander.Dice is also a key sponsor for this year's event so look for our BF3 ad next month,a Knucklehead feature and full show coverage in up coming issues.

Born Free Knucklehead Poster

Here is the Born Free Knucklehead poster.This was done by our friend Adam Nickel and will be used as the overall concept of the Garage Company built Knucklehead that one of you will ride home on June 25th. Thank you Adam for all your hard work..we really appreciate it.This year's poster will be screen printed on quality paper and bigger than last year. The poster w/free ticket will go on sale very soon.

ATTENTION CAMPERS !!

In case we haven't made it clear, Born-Free 3 will be taking place @ The Oak Canyon Ranch in beautiful Santiago Canyon, behind Irvine Lake. There are great camping opportunities for those who like to get in touch with Mother Nature. Down the canyon about 5 miles is a scenic camping area called O'Neill Reginal Parks. They have an area at the end of there grounds called Arroyo Campground that is perfect for Born-Free 3'ers. Originally we said it was the Hickey Creek area, but that was a misunderstanding unless you have a huge group an want to reserve a bulk area with 30-50 camping spots.
It is $27 the first night and $15 each additional. There are quite a few spots in the Arroyo Campground area and each spot they say is for two cars and 8 people. If you all reserve your spot now they will most likely be by other Born-Free-ers.
Make your reservations early! There is another camping event in the canyon that weekend and the rest of the area will be full. Call 1-800-600-1600 or CLICK HERE for online reservations and campground info. We recomend calling just to make sure you reserve in the Arroyo Campground area!
The road in and out of the camping area is sheltered by an amazingly stunning ride through a windy tree canopy capped road...don't wait! Below are pics Mike and I took yesterday at the camground. Plus there is a map of the whole O'neill Recration area and a panned out map. It is less than two miles to the legendary Cooks Corner where we are working on having the BF3 afterparty! Stay tuned!
