Kouske from Sunrise Cycles brought 2 bikes (( both swingarms)) to the BF Builder invite. His tidy clean Pan with narrowed tree's,nice lines & killer paint. He also suprised us with this Honda Hauler..I don't even know what to classify it as..but super cool & people were digg'in it..definitely different and nice to see a Japanese bike mix it up.

NY Builders

John & Jeffro brought out their bikes all the way from Brooklyn to be involved in the Builder Invite. John's Pan/Shovel had some really neat features & nice paintwork. Jeffro's little Triumph was full show and loaded with chrome & polish. We know bringing bikes out across the country takes time and money and we appreciated these guys making that commitment to the show.

BF3 Builder Spotlight

Shawn from Bronsonville entered a special bike with a long story and many hands have touched this Shovelhead. I bought the incredible motor from Chica a few years ago.He re-shaped it and polished to perfection.I bought the molded & Dished tank from John Edwards..who did all the work on it.I also got the nos Bates seat set from him who got them years ago on Ebay from Adam Nickel who does my art and the Born Free stuff...he now has the Bear Seat Co. & a top sponsor.Don't get lost there's more. I traded the bike as a project to Joe ( current owner) for a Knucklehead which I have since sold back to him. Joe gathered the remaining parts and sent it to Shawn to finish all the fab work. After some design changes they got it ready to paint...Enter Scott Craig...who painted the bike.Shawn worked night & day before Born Free to get it done..and did!

Long Bikes (( Builders))

Our pals Dave Polgreen from MN. and Robert Hernandez from AZ. turned out a couple of wild long bikes for the builder invite. Dave's knuckle had American Racing mags & crazy paint from Harpoon. Robert's bike was a personal favorite and it was Robert's dream build and we are honored he unveiled it at Born Free.... he handled that long sob like a toy. Thanks Fellas.

Builder Spot (( J Webber ))

Jason built a dual amal knucklehead and took home a 3rd place finish. He narrowed the springer and had 1.. 2.. 3 headlights. We know that professional shops have a hard time meeting deadlines so for our home/ garage builders to get there bikes to the show and have them look as good as they did was alot of hard work and we appreciated what they went through. Thanks a ton Jason.

Was at Sid's Tattoo in Santa Ana last night and met a fellow with a fine tattoo!
